Steven J. Millen graduated from medical school at the
Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. where he also completed his residency
training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. Following board certification, he
completed his fellowship in otology/neuro-otology at Ear International in Los Angeles, CA.
Returning to Milwaukee in 1979, he established the first neuro-otology practice in the state
of Wisconsin and limits his work to ear-related disorders. He holds a clinical faculty
position in the Department of Otolaryngology & Human Communication at the Medical
College of Wisconsin and has been active in resident instruction. He established, and is a
medical advisor for, the Wisconsin Meniere's Network and the Wisconsin Cochlear Implant
Club which are patient support groups. He has written or co-authored a number of scholarly
publications on various neuro-otologic topics, especially magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
of ear-related disorders. Dr. Millen speaks regularly at local, regional and national
medical meetings. He is married and has four children.
