Audiologist Profiles:
CHERYL BONERT, M.A., CCC-A
Cheryl graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor's
degree in Communicative Disorders in 1986. She received her Master's degree in Audiology
from the University of Akron in Ohio in 1989. Since that time she has participated in
numerous continuing education activities including special training in cochlear implants.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Cheryl is the coordinator for the Wisconsin Cochlear
Implant Club, which is a support group for cochlear implant recipients and their families.
She holds a hearing aid and dispensing license from the state of Wisconsin and the certificate
of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Cheryl is
also affiliated with the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Dispensing
Audiologist, and the Wisconsin-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
CAITLIN MCINTOSH, M.S., CFY-A
Caitlin graduated with honors from the University of California - Riverside with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics in 1995. She received her Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington in June of 1998. Prior to obtaining this degree in 1998, she completed an internship at Froedtert Hospital: Audiology Section in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her experience and responsibilities at Milwaukee Otologic include a variety of vestibular and electrophysiologic diagnostics in addition to basic audiometric evaluations. Caitlin also has experience prescribing and fitting a variety of hearing aids, which include programmable and digital technology. In addition, Caitlin coordinates the Wisconsin Meniere's Network support group and newsletter. During her clinical fellowship, Caitlin holds licensure with the State of Wisconsin as both audiologist and a hearing aid dispenser and is completing her requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her professional affiliations include ASHA, Wisconsin Speech-Language-Hearing Association (WSHA), Educational Audiology Association (EAA), Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology (ARA), and Self Help For Hard of Hearing (SHHH).
