Steven A. Harvey graduated from medical school at
Creighton University in Omaha, NE. and completed his residency training in
otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.
Following board certification, he completed an otology fellowship at the Minnesota Ear,
Head and Neck Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. He then completed an otology/neuro-otology
fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL., and went on to study temporal bone
histopathology at the University of Chicago and vestibular physiology at Southern Illinois
University. Limiting his practice to ear-related disorders, he then returned to Milwaukee
as a full-time faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He remained there for
three years, then joined Dr. Millen in practice in 1996. Dr. Harvey maintains a clinical
faculty position in the Department of Otolaryngology & Human Communication at the
Medical College and is active in resident teaching. He has written or co-authored a number
of papers in the medical literature on a variety of ear-related topics including laser
surgery, surgery for chronic infections, diagnostic tests for dizziness and skull-base
lesions. He speaks regularly at local, regional and national medical meetings. Dr. Harvey
is married and has three children.
